Review & On Feet Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Black White.

No matter how much Kanye wants to leave his relationship with Nike in the past, there’s no denying that the Nike inspiration is still there. I remember when the first images of the Yeezy 350 Boost emerged. Everyone immediately compared the shoe to the popular Roshe Run from Nike. And since everyone loves the Roshe Run, everyone decided that they love the Yeezy 350 Boost too, even if it costs three times the price. We’ll just call this the adidas Roshe Run “Elite.”

The first adidas Yeezy Boost retailed for $350 and it was twice as ugly as this one. So by adidas cutting the price down by $150 (the Yeezy 350 Boost retails for $200), this guarantees that more people will be going after a pair, or maybe even two. This still costs more than most Air Jordan?retros (which I definitely?prefer over these, unless it’s the Pro Star 5s).

If you’ve ever tried on any adidas sneaker with Boost technology then you know exactly what I’m talking about. Wearing Boost literally feels like you’re wearing tiny pillows for your feet. This is probably the best feature of the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost, but not good enough to persuade me to buy a pair.

I’ve already seen countless pictures of the 350 Boost on social media, and I’ve also seen countless combinations of it paired up with different types of pants/shorts. Whether you want to wear joggers, jeans, chinos?with the pin-roll, or any type of shorts, this shoe was designed to be worn for the Summer, so we’ll see everyone wearing it their own way. One good thing for all of you hipsters that just found out that Kanye West even makes shoes with adidas, is that the shoe will be much more widely available than the first Yeezy Boost. I mean the fact alone that PacSun will be carrying the sneaker should be enough proof. PacSun…really?

Do I really need to explain this one? The simple fact that Kanye West designed this shoe is enough to flock all of the “Yeezus” supporters to cop the shoe, even if they don’t know what it’s called or how much it costs. If people are willing to buy a $120 white t-shirt Kanye was associated with, you know picking up this shoe isn’t even a question.

Grey, black and white are three colors that can be matched up with pretty much anything. Fortunately for people who like this silhouette, this colorway?has all three of those colors on it. So if you happen to pick up the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost, you won’t have to try too hard to match it up with something decent.

From the day that we got our first look at this sneaker a few months ago, the hype train began. Week after week after week the train has gained traction and everyone and their momma can’t stop talking about the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost and why they need it so bad. This is what happens with so many releases these days, and it’s a sad thing to see in the sneaker community. People that really want the shoe will not be able to get a pair because someone that just decided that they like the shoe last week will be entering that same raffle and stealing away?their size.

The equivalent to Nike’s Flyknit, adidas decided to place their breathable and flexible Primeknit on the Yeezy 350 Boost. I’ve never tried on a Primeknit sneaker personally, but if it’s similar to Flyknit then it will have a pretty nice feel to it. Not that anybody cares what the upper is actually made out of (hypebeasts), but for those of you that do, know that it’s one of adidas’ best and most innovative technologies.

You know I had to save the best for last, right? Perhaps the biggest reason that the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost will sell out instantly is because of the resell value that the shoe is already racking up on the secondary market. Many people may not admit it (because in case you didn’t know, people that have a true love for sneakers despise resellers), but the sole reason that they?will buy this shoe is to flip it for a nice profit. Think about it, the sneaker retails for $200 plus tax let’s make it $220. So as you can see in the eBay listings above, the lowest price that you can find at the moment is $800. If you sell the shoe at $800, that’s a profit of $580. FOR ONE PAIR! I understand that sneakers are a business, but please don’t fall into these traps by paying a ridiculous amount of money on this (or any) shoe.
